Caitlin O’Sullivan is a second-year graduate student at Minnesota State University.
Research. Papers. Projects. She’s busy.
But an abiding love of all things literature — coupled with a novel idea — led O’Sullivan to take on another task: The Postcard Press.
After an afternoon of antique shopping renewed her interest in the postcard as a literary form, she came up with the idea of a monthly journal that consists of one written piece (poetry, prose, flash fiction) printed on a single postcard.
Subscribers can receive 12 a year for $20, and O’Sullivan is now preparing her third installment.
“When you’re crazy about something, you make time for it,” she said.
O’Sullivan’s small press was one of several in attendance for MSU’s More Than Writing Conference that concludes today.
